Week Recap

Dear Diary,

It would be strange if I start with that sentence right? Dear diary? As if I’m talking to a diary. But no, I am talking (actually writing) to you… the reader. Someone who is in the same boat as I am or even in a better one. Like a yacht.

Wow… what a week this has been. I’ll give you a recap of what I have done and what I have learned.

The Six Figure Mentors

The Six Figure Mentors

Yes… I used to be a member of the Six Figure Mentors. If you don’t know what they are they’re basically a community website which promises you to become wealthy with affiliate marketing.

Even though I do believe in affiliate marketing the route that I took was not meant for me.

I was a member for a whole 27 days (wow) and I decided to leave and thankfully I can still get my money back.

Why did I leave though?

The Six Figure Mentors Scam

The Six Figure Mentors Scam
The Six Figure Mentors Scam

Let me just be clear about this. The Six Figure Mentors is NOT a scam. I do not believe that they are running a get-rich-quick-scheme nor are they selling you something that is not of value. When you become a member you get access to the following:

  1. A very big community
  2. Access to their affiliate marketing
  3. A lot of webinars
  4. LinkedIn Learning
  5. and much more

The price they ask for all of this a yearly price of $297 dollars and then a $97 per month.

Is it pricey? Yes. $97 dollars a month is a lot but if you put it in the context you can gain more for less.

If you go to an affiliate course you will pay at least $500 to $1000 dollars for a year. When you go to college you will pay more so $97 dollars, in this case, doesn’t sound that much.

So why did I leave?

The thing is that I did not believe that it was the right choice for me. The creators of the Six Figure Mentors are awesome but it was not something that I was looking for. Again let’s look at the stuff they give you when you become a member:

  1. A very big community
    • I don’t care about the community. They really focus on becoming a big family and even though that is very important when you want to become big there are far better ways to be in a community that doesn’t cost you $97 dollars.
  2. Access to their affiliate marketing
    • There are a lot of reviews of the Six Figure Mentors that mention that the Six Figure Mentors are pushing you into selling their own affiliate marketing. This, however, is not true. Yes, they do advice it but it’s not something they cram down your throat every single day. I didn’t want to sell their affiliate marketing because I wasn’t even sure if it was something that I believed in.
  3. A lot of Webinars
    • They have a lot of webinars. Sometimes 3 or 4 a day and they are very helpful. I do regret leaving the Six Figure Mentors because I will miss the webinars but again there are other ways to join different webinars that have the same value for a lot less and sometimes even free.
  4. LinkedIn Learning
    • I love LinkedIn learning. I have learned more from LinkedIn learning then I did from the Six Figure Mentors and this was actually the biggest reason I decided to leave the Six Figure Mentors. You can get a subscription directly with LinkedIn learning for less.

Should you join the Six Figure Mentors?

That is really up to you. If you find the points that I mention of value for you then go right ahead and join.

However, if you do not want to spend $97 dollars for (what I truly believe) is a community that can have value stick around because I will be posting a couple of tips that can be of benefit for you that has the same value as the Six Figure Mentors.

This Wednesday I will give you 5 products that I believe has also great value but does not cost as much as the Six Figure Mentors (some are going to be free).

This Friday I will give you 5 ways to improve yourself the way Six Figure Mentors believe which I hope will be free but I’m not sure yet.

One of the first blogs I wrote on this website which is called the 5 basic principles for success and making money is actually the best lessons I learned from the Six Figure Mentors.
